The prawns caught by our trawlers in the Gulf of Carpentaria are of the highest quality and in high demand world wide. As one of the pioneers of the fishery Les Lowe has continued to fish the Gulf and maintain the outstanding level of quality product.

Gulf prawns are highly prized in Asia, particularly in Japan, and are often not seen in Australia due to the high prices commanded overseas. The Gulf of Carpentaria is considered to
be home to pristine waters and yields the Brown and Grooved tiger prawn, King Prawns, Banana Prawns and Endeavour prawns in the limited fishing season.

GNM has 4 boats and can supply both the domestic and international markets after many years in the industry.

In recent times GNM Seafood has reserved some of its export quality prawns for sale to the retail public, restaurants and local users. We believe there is a market for an exceptional quality product. As all our prawns are snap frozen aboard the trawler there is no reprocessing or thawing ensuring the highest grade of product reached the customer.
